My LA salad

Good for all blood types

 

INGREDIENTS FOR THE SALAD

  • 1 baby gem lettuce, leaves separated

  • 8 Brussels sprouts, leaves separated

  • 1 rib of celery, finely sliced

  • A few mint leaves

  • 2 Tbsp Kohlrabi pickle

INGREDIENTS FOR THE DRESSING

  • 1 tbsp of grated ginger

  • 1⁄4 cup grapefruit juice

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 1⁄2 cup olive oil

  • 1⁄2 tsp paprika

  • 1⁄2 tsp sea salt

METHOD
1. Place a bed of baby gem leaves at the bottom
of your serving plate.

2. Top with the brussels sprouts leaves, celery and pickled kohlrabi.

3. Whisk all of the dressing ingredients together, and drizzle over the salad.

4. Top with mint leaves.
